City Stars shares spoils with West Africans

Tusker Premier League side Nairobi City Stars played to a 2-2 draw with West Africans Combined FC in a build up match played at the Hope Center on Wednesday 10 October 2012.

City Stars Team Manager Lawrence Njenga was joyous after the game saying their opponents gave them good opposition.

Good team

-The team is very good and gave us a hard time. I’m really happy since now we’ve identified the loopholes we need to fix before our next league match, Njenga told futaa.com.

-We are also planning to have another friendly match on Friday 12 October 2012, he added.

Victor Okulu and Ken Timusime scored for City Stars in the match that kicked off at 1000 hours.

Table

City Stars is 14th in the 16-team log with 24 points from 26 matches and will play KCB in its next match.
