Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Nairobi City Stars seem to have found the perfect replacement for Dan Sserenkuma who has joined Gor Mahia.
Sserunkuma’s departure was a big blow to the club considering his record.
He has been on form this season netting five times in the 1st leg of the KPL and openly expressed his desire to join Gor Mahia.
Having recently signed a two and a half year contract at Gor, City Stars have moved fast to replace him with another Ugandan.
Another Sserenkuma
Aurum FC’s Bruno Sserenkuma has been training with the Kawangware-based team since the Ugandan Super League came to a close last week and seems to have impressed the coaches.
He has gone back to Uganda to get the proper documentation and according to an inside source, the player will put pen to paper once he returns to the country.
Invasion
There has been an influx of Ugandan players in the KPL in the recent years and a majority of clubs are courting players from the country with an aim of signing them before the start of the second leg.
S.C Villa’s Tony Sentongo and Uganda Police’s Tony Kulaba have been training with Sony Sugar and might be signed while Muhoroni’s head coach had in an earlier interview revealed to futaa.com that he is assessing two Ugandans who are training with the team and there was a possibility of the team signing the duo.
