Brazil handed China an 8-0 beating on Tuesday 11 September
2012 in a friendly tie played at the Jóse do Rego Maciel Stadium
in Recife, Pernambuco.
Hulk
Brazil lead the way at the break with a two goal advantage from goals by Ramires in the 23rd minutes and another six minutes later by Neymar.
Four minutes into the second half, Lucas Moura made it three thanks to an assist from former Porto Striker Hulk, now at Russia’s Zenit St. Petersburg.
Hulk then made it 4-0 three minutes after Moura’s goal and another two minutes on, Neymar got his brace in stretching the score line to 5-0.
A goal for himself
At the hour mark, Neymar completed his hat trick and with 20 minutes to go, China never made it any better as an own goal from Liu Jianye made it 7-0.
Oscar who provided three assists; one to Ramires and two to Neymar finally got a goal for himself when he scored a penalty awarded on 76 minutes to end the goal fest at 8-0.
Played Sweden
Brazil’s win comes days after the team managed a slim 1-0 win over South Africa. On Thursday 6 September, a day prior to the Brazil-South Africa game, China had played Sweden in a friendly, a game they lost 1-0.
Brazil’s next friendly will be against Argentina on Thursday 20 September.
