Chiefs regret the death of a fan

ABSA Premiership side Kazier Chiefs has expressed shock and deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends of one of their fans involved in an accident during the Soweto Derby that ended in a one-all draw on Saturday 26 October 2013.

The club through their Executive Chairman, Kaizer Motaung revealed to the club's official site the name of Mr Langa Ngcece as the victim from a Minibus accident involving the supporters traveling from Durban to the Soweto Derby in the early hours of Saturday.

Moment of silence

It is understood that their Minibus collided with a truck in on their way to the FNB Stadium in Johannesberg, the venue of the match.

There was a moment of silence observed in respect of the departed soul before the kickoff of the watertight clash.

Netted the equaliser

In the match the away side (Orlando Pirates) opened the scoring early in the first half through Kermit Erasmus before Kingston Nkhatha netted the equalizer for Kaizer Chiefs minutes before the break.
