Tusker Management team have given their Oserian counterparts a footballing lesson, spanking the Flower-men 3-7, in a friendly match, on Sunday 14 October, at Oserian Sports Complex.
Paul Cheruyoit was in a class of his own as he totally dominated the entire match scoring five goals to propel the Brewers to an emphatic victory.
Cheruyoit broke the deadlock in the 13th minute after receiving a fine pass from Fernand Tostao.
Seven minutes later, lethal Cheruyoit intercepted Ian Moses’ goal-kick to extend the lead before striking his third goal via penalty after George Opondo was brought down in the area by Zack Ochieng’.
In the 41st minute, former Kenyan international and Tusker Coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo combined well with Sammy Otinga to set-up Peter Ogutu, who made no mistake in shooting home from a close range.
Ogutu was on target again in the 43rd minute to reduce the deficit after a brilliant pass from Otinga with keeper Allan Otieno well beaten.
However, second half substitute George Maina made an instant impact, slipping past his marker [Pamzo] to score the fifth goal for the visitors before Ogutu struck his third goal of the day from the spot.
Cheruyoit completed the rout in the 58th and 82nd minutes to secure an emphatic win for the Brewers.
