Chemelil undecided on Manoah fate

Manoah/Muiruri
Chemelil Sugar chairman Robert Nyakundi says that there is no decision yet on the fate of the club's head coach Edward Manoah.

Manoah was sent on compulsory leave last week, after the sugar millers managed just one win in 16 Tusker Premier League matches, one of the worst records in the league.

His assistant Mike Mururi has once again taken over in an acting capacity and despite all the signs alluding to Manoah being sent home, Nyakundi says it is not a done deal yet.

No decision made

- As far as the club is concerned, Edward Manoah is on leave and after a certain period, will be back at the club.

- For now, we have not sacked or released him, we just thought that he needed a break from football to refresh. After a certain time he will come back here and we will speak.

- There might yet be changes or not, but that decision has not been made and for now he is still a part of the club, he told Futaa.com.

Tenth

Chemelil are currently placed tenth in the Tusker Premier League.
