Chemelil ends 12 match win-less streak with Ulinzi win

Chemelil Sugar beat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 in a Tusker Premier League game played at Chemelil on Saturday 1 September 2012.

The lone and all important goal was scored by former Karungu and Kabrass (West Kenya Sugar) player Jared Omwenga who tapped in a low corner taken by Gerson Likono in the 20^th minute.

The win, the first since the team beat Sofapaka 1-0 on 31 March, brings an end to Chemelil’s 12 match win less run in the league.

Eighth 

With three new points, Chemelil now shots from tenth to eighth with 30 points from 23 matches. Ulinzi remains sixth with 37 points from 22 games.
