After the barren draw with Chemelil Sugar on Saturday 29 September in the Tusker Premier League (TPL), Karuturi Sport will now shift their focus to AFC Leopards whom they play on Saturday 6 October in the FKF Cup (President’s Cup).
Run for their money
The Naivasha side’s coach Michael Nam believes the team’s output at the Chemelil Sports Complex was a good enough preparation for the AFC Leopards clash and speaking to futaa.com, he said his boys will give AFC Leopards a run for their money.
The coach, who missed Yusuf Siruma in the game on suspension, added that the defender’s expected return in the Ingwe game together with the injured Mwachiponi Mohamed will be massive boosts for the team.
Looking forward to
-We played well despite failing to score; I think it was a good warm up for the tough encounter ahead against AFC Leopards. By Saturday we will be fully ready and the return of Siruma and Mwachiponi is one thing I am really looking forward to. We will pose a tough challenge.
-It is not just in the President’s Cup, we are eyeing a very strong finish in the league campaign too, he said.
