Chemelil Coach rues inconsistency

As Coach Edward Manoah prepares his Chemelil Sugar team for the encounter against the 2008 Tusker Premier League (TPL) Champions Mathare United, the former AFC Leopards tactician has pointed at inconsistency as the reason for his team’s woes thus far.

Three points

Speaking just before the encounter at the Nairobi City Stadium, Manoah admitted to having raised the issue with his charges heading into the important game and expects them to deliver all the three points at stake.

-I understand that our problem thus far has been inconsistency but after talking to the boys they are now aware of the magnitude of this game and I expect them to rise to the occasion and get the maximum points from this game.

Inexperience

-Most of my players are inexperienced but they have been working hard since the start of the second leg and I am sure they will start scoring and winning games because my target is to finish in the top half, he said.

Chemelil Sugar is in position eight with 31 points after 24 matches.
