Central Provincial League kicks out two

The 20-team Central Provincial League has now been reduced to an 18-team affair following the dismissal of two teams.

S. Mukuva and Githurai FC are no longer part of the league as confirmed by the league managers

Deducted 

-S. Mukuva F.C and Githurai F.C have been disqualified for the second leg for missing 3 (three) consecutive matches - home and away. Those teams which had played with them in the second leg have been deducted those points, said a communiqué from Godfrey Murimi, the Secretary of Aberdares Branch

Placed 19th

Till the time of their dismissal, S. Mukuva was placed 16th with 18 points having picked up five wins, two draws and lost 12 of their 20 games. The team had scored 23 times and conceded 36 goals.

Githurai was placed 19th with 13 points collected from two wins and seven draws. The team has scored 14 times and conceded 30 times.
