Celtic win big at home

After handing Ross County a 4-0 beating in their Saturday 22 December league match, Scottish Premier League leaders Celtic FC have opened a five point gap between them and second-placed Iverness CT.

In the match, played at the Celtic Park, Scott Brown set Celtic on the path to goals, with his 46th minute goal with Gary Hooper netting a brace in the 53rd and 64th minutes.

James Forrest, who had come in as 58th minute substitute for Beram Kayal completed the action in the 70th minute, marking his return to first-team action in style.


Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama and Nigerian defender Efetobore Ambrose made the starting team and both played the entire 90 minutes.
