Celtic now targeting a top eight finish

Amenga

Division One side Kibera Celtic, have let go of promotion hopes, and now plan on finishing the league among the top eight teams in the Eastern Zone of the Division One.

According to head Coach Mike Amenga, this is a realistic target as they work on ascending to the premier league in the next season.

-As much as it would be comforting to say that we are still in the chase for promotion, it also makes sense to set realistic targets and we know that finishing in the top eight would be commendable for us, Amenga told Futaa.com.

In order to attain this objective, Amenga says that they are trying to finish the second leg without as many loses as they had in the first leg.

-We started the second leg on a positive note and if you look at our performance, you will realize that we have not lost as many matches as we lost by the same time in the opening leg.

Standings

Celtic, with 22 points, are currently ranked 15th in their zone.
