Twelve teams have confirmed their participation in the forthcoming Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) Senior Challenge Cup to be held in Uganda between November 24 and December 8 2012.
According to CECAFA Secretary General Nicholas Musonye, all the twelve member states including the newest state, South Sudan, are expected to feature in the two-week tournament.

-All teams including South Sudan and Kenya have confirmed their participation.
-Preparations are in top gear and the draws for the tournament will be held early next month, said Musonye to futaa.com.
Teams that have confirmed their participation include Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Eritrea, Rwanda, Burundi, Zanzibar, Djibouti, Somalia and South Sudan.
