Canada-based Otieno tips Gor to clinch title

Former Gor Mahia forward Habil Otieno believes the team will clinch the 2012 Tusker Premier League title.

Competition

-The league is still open and all the top three teams; Tusker, Gor and Afc Leopards, have a chance of winning it, but Gor has a better chance, Habil told futaa.com.

-Gor seems to have a stronger squad and will most likely not drop points in the remaining matches. The level of competition within the squad is always high and this has helped the players to be in top notch form, hence the good results. The league is now theirs to lose, he added.

Career

Habil left Gor Mahia for Canada in 2009 where he now plies his trade in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League for Estrella De Chille. Former Sofapaka, Tusker and Mathare United midfielder Eric Ray Odhiambo also plays for the team.

The league is the biggest local league in Vancouver.
