Cameroon expected today

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are expected to jet in to the country today to begin their preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Angola beginning this coming Saturday.

The squad of 23 will use Kenya as is training ground before jetting to Angola on the 11th January ahead of heir first game against Gabon on 13th January.

The team will be training at Kasarani and is scheduled to play a friendly against the Harambee Stars at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday.

Expected squad

Goalkeepers: Carlos Kameni (Espanyol, Spain), Hamidou Souleymanou (Kayserispor, Turkey) and Guy N"Dy Assembe (Valenciennes, France)

Defenders: Rigobert Song (Trabzonspor, Turkey), Geremi (Newcastle United, England), Henri Bedimo (Chateauroux, France), Andre Bikey (Burnley, England), Gilles Augustin Binya (on loan from Benfica at Neuchatel Xamax), Aurelien Chedjou (Lille, France), Nicolas Nkoulou (AS Monaco, France) and Joel Matip (Shalke 04, Germany)

Midfielders: Alex Song (Arsenal, England), Jean Makoun (Lyon, France), Stephane Mbia (Marseille, France), Georges Mandjeck (Kaiserslautern, Germany), Enoh Eyong (Ajax Amsterdam, Holland), Landry Nguemo (Celtic, Scotland), Achille Emana (Real Betis, Spain) and Somen A Tchoyi (Red Bull Salzburg, Austria)

Strikers: Paul Alo"o Efloulou (AS Nancy, France), Achille Webo (Mallorca, Spain), Mohamadou Idrissou (SC Freiburg, Germany) and Samuel Eto"o (Inter Milan, Italy)
