Sunshine Stars FC of Nigeria are set to risk the health fitness of first choice goalkeeper Moses Ocheje for the second leg CAF Champions League game against Al Ahly on Sunday.
The goalkeeper was part of the team who travelled to Egypt on Thursday ahead of the clash.
Ocheje was reported to have played the first leg in Ijebu Ode with pain killer after he fell ill. He thereafter returned to the hospital to continue receiving treatment after their 3-3 draw a fortnight ago.
Forced to travel
Futaa.com gathered that Ocheje has not fully recovered, but was forced to travel with the team considering the importance of the game.
Sunshine need to record an outright win or a draw above 3 goals if they must book a ticket to the final.
But management of Sunshine prefers to risk the health of Ocheje for a tall order in Egypt.
Though the Akure Gunners travelled with a second choice goalkeeper Henry Ayodele, it is believed that the inclusion of Ocheje among the players who made the trip will see him man the post for the Gbenga Ogunbote tutored side.
The game will be played behind closed doors.
