C. Stars positive despite defensive frailty

Tusker Premier League side Nairobi City Stars is determined to get at least a point from the weekend match against Karuturi Sport despite suffering a defensive blow in the course of the week.

Speaking to futaa.com, the team manager Lawrence Njenga admitted that it would affect the team negatively if both John Amboko and Arthur Museve are not available.

Negative impact

-It will of course be a blow to us if we do not have them both but we have credible replacements in the team that will do the job for us in the match.

- We are determined to get either the three points or at least a point from the match on Saturday.

Head Coach Bye Wadda had earlier indicated that the team is likely to miss three players for their weekend outing with Museve suspended and skipper Amboko a doubt with injury.

Others on the watch-list ahead of the match include goalkeepers Ronny Kagunzi and Peter Odhiambo.

City Stars only need a win to be at par with their weekend rivals Karuturi Sport.
