Arne Saga scored the first goal for Fram and Jack Jacobsen who is their top scorer added the second of the day.
Before the game, Fram had gone eight matches without a win and thus the win was well received by the home crowd at their Fram Parken home.
Another Kenyan, Boniventure Maruti was also in the match-day squad for Fram.
Happy to be back
Fram coach Tom Helge Jacobsen was elated with the win.
- I am very happy that we have won at last. Staying many games like that without winning is not good at all. We were very frustrated as we were playing well.
- The problem has been goals. Only three teams have conceded fewer goals than us. We are one of the best defensive teams, even if it has not felt that way, he said.
- We have a lot of games where we have created so many chances, but failed to score. When you then concede it feels very simple, and that is why we do not win. The truth is that it is the opposite that is why. We are too poor to score goals, he told the club's official website.
Fifth
Fram are fifth in the standings with 32 points from 22 games played. There are four games to the end of the season.
