Bwamy out of Stars squad to face Bafana

Bwamy
Harambee Stars will miss the services of one of its foreign-based players when they play South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in an international build up match on Tuesday 16 October 2012 at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Immigration

Norway-based Christian Bwamy has confirmed to futaa.com that he will not be available for the match due an immigration issue.

-I really wanted to be part of the team but due to a complicated matter with the Norwegian immigration department, the club will not release me, Bwamy told futaa.com.

-I wanted to be part of Henri Michel’s new team but the issue is beyond my control, I hope to feature in the team’s upcoming matches, he added.

MYSA

The former MYSA player plies his trade for Norwegian third-tier side IF Fram alongside former Kenyan International Bornivature Maruti.

Czech-based winger Patrick Oboya and Inter Milan’s McDonald Mariga have already confirmed their unavailability for the match while Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s Patrick Osiako is a major doubt.
