On Tuesday 17 September, AFC Leopards relieved head Coach Luc Eymael and assistants Nicholas Muyoti and John Busolo off their duties.
The reason fronted for the release was a run of weak performances and non-commitment by the tacticians.
Speaking of the drop, Busolo, who was serving as the goalkeeping trainer described the accusations lodged against him as malicious.
-We have been training well, everyday and according to plan so the accusations of me sleeping on the job are insincere, said Busolo.
-The same happened to my predecessor and so the club should not blame me for the players’ individual mistakes.
Busolo also found it wise to give the club some free advice on proper administration.
-The club should focus on the real issues not sideshows since we did it in our time when there were even no finances, it should be better now that there are finances.
-The club should plan on the long term solutions not demanding for immediate results like in Eymael’s cases-he needed time to bond more with the players and it was working so far.
Harambee Stars assistant Coach James Nandwa and Mickey Weche were appointed on an interim capacity to replace the released trio.
