Busia no-show at Agro

Second tier side Agrochemicals have been awarded a walk-over after their Sunday 30 June opponents Busia United Stars failed to show up for the match.

The hosts secretary general Godfrey Oyola told futaa.com that they received no communication from the Busia-based side on their no-show but confirmed that that the match-day officials awarded them the three points and two goals as per the rules.

No report

-We had prepared very well and even the boys were on the pitch ready for the pre-match but they (Busia United Stars) failed to show up, he said.

Oyola further said they had received no report form their opponents but were happy with the three points.

-They did not communicate and forced the match officials to award us the three points and per the rules, but we are happy that we have what we wanted before the match; maximum points, he said.

The walk-over win saw Agrochemicals climb to second on the FKF Division One Zone B table with 24 points from 10 matches, one behind leaders Oserian FC who have played a game more.
