Uganda Cranes Head Coach Bobby Williamson is full of praises for their AFCON Qualifiers opponents Zambia ahead of their clash on Saturday 13th October 2012.
Speaking to cafonline ahead of the second leg encounter at the Nambole Stadium in Uganda, the coach hailed their opponents as a united team that has earned their top ranking in the continent.
- They are not a team of individuals. They work hard for each other and they have good spirit among themselves that is why they won the Africa title. I am trying to emulate them though it takes time but I am confident I can succeed.
Team work
-I am sure the Zambian have been together for some time and they almost have to defend their title after winning it so you can see why they are fighting to hold on to their crown. That’s the level we want to get to.
Williamson however believes that they can overcome their fears and beat the Chipolopolo when the meet at their home turf over the weekend owing to their recent achievements.
-We have played, Ghana, Egypt, and Morocco whom we managed to beat so we believe we can succeed against big name teams.
Zambia won the first leg in September 8 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
