Bobby Ogolla attending CAF training abroad

Gor Mahia assistant Coach John Bobby Ogolla is in Cairo, Egypt attending a three-day CAF Certification Course,  which is started on Wednesday 9 January.

Confirming the news, the club’s official website (gormahiafc.co.ke) noted that CAF had made it a mandatory requirement for all tacticians serving in Africa to have CAF certification starting this season.

-We received a notification on the requirement and a further invitation from CAF to avail our tacticians for the course. A decision was thus made by the club executive to send our assistant coach Bobby Ogolla to Cairo, Secretary General George Bwana said.

-Our head Coach Zdravko Logarusic has a UEFA accreditation which is an equivalent of the CAF requirement thus the decision to send  Ogolla.

The training will conclude on Friday 11 and Ogolla will travel back to the country on Sunday 13, after the awards ceremony.

In charge

With Logarusic yet to return from his holdiday, the team is currently under the guidance of goalkeeping Coach and Team Manager Abdul Iddi Salim.
