Black Stars in Bata ahead of the Semis

Ghana's national team Black stars touched down at the Bata International Airport on Monday  6 February at 1645Hrs ahead of Wednesday's semi-final clash with Zambia’s Chipolopolo at the 2012 Continental show piece.

Govan Stevanovic side was mobbed by several Ghanaians in Bata who were at hand to welcome them from Franceville where they had been based.

Blackstars became the fourth and last team to make the semis of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after seeing off Tunisia 2-1 in a game played on Sunday 5 February 2012.

Herve Renard’s side will now take on Ghana in the semis after pushing out East African representatives Sudan from the tournament.

The match will take place at the Estadio de Bata on Wednesday 8 February as from 1900Hrs  in one of the two semi-final matches.
