Bidco United trails Division One Zone A leaders Bandari FC by eleven points with ten games left before the season ends but despite this, Head Coach Juma Abdalla believes the team will earn promotion to the top-tier, the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
Speaking to futaa.com, Abdalla said that the race to promotion would go to the wire and that all the top five stand a chance to finish top.
-The league is still very open and we also have a very realistic chance of playing in the KPL next season. We have 12 games remaining and we will play eight of these in our home ground. This gives a slight advantage, Abdalla said.
-All my players are fit and the mood within the team is perfect. We all want to play in the KPL next season, he added.
Bidco is second in the KPL table with 49 points from 26 games. Former KPL side Bandari tops the league with 60 points having played 28 matches.
Two teams will be promoted to the top-tier; one from Zone A and the other from Zone B.
