Bidco coach drops personal ambition for team interest

Bidco United assistant coach Isiah Owidi has decided to stay put and realise Bidco United's Premier League promotion dream, at the expense of his personal ambition.

Owidi has been pursuing Sports science certification from the University of Brussels in Belgium of which he has completed the first part; theory level.

He was due to head out to Belgium in October for the practical part of his course, but with Bidco running Bandari close for promotion to the top flight, he has decided to shelve his plans for the sake of the team.

Premier League

- We are close to promotion to the Tusker Premier League, very close.

- The points gap between us and Bandari is marginal and we have a good chance of making it to the top flight.

- I have decided that since making it to the TPL is our ambition, I will stay around and help the team forward, we need to get promotion and I will thus be here for the team, he told Futaa.com.

Game in hand

Bidco are seven points behind leaders Bandari in the FKF Division one zone A, though with a game in hand.
