The Catalans will hope to extend their record-breaking Liga run against Real Sociedad on Saturday and shrug off the disappointment of letting a lead slip away late-on in their Copa Del Rey tie against Malaga.
Real Sociedad have the dubious honour of welcoming the mighty Barcelona to San Sebastian on Saturday seeking revenge for a 5-1 mauling at the Nou Camp back in August.
Since then, Barcelona has had an undefeated league campaign to top the table, while Sociedad are currently in ninth place.
The Catalans go to the Basque region with a commanding nine point lead at the head of La Liga as both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid trail in their wake.
Sociedad put up a good fight against Real Madrid a few weeks ago and will be hoping to make things uncomfortable for Barcelona on their home ground.
Team stats
