Francis Baraza has been named the new Western Stima coach.

The former SoNy Sugar and Harambee Stars assistant coach has been chosen by Stima, beating a shortlist of coaches that included ex- AFC Leopards man Jan Koops.

One year deal

Stima chair Laban Jobita confirmed the news.

- Francis Baraza is the new coach. He will take over on a one year contract that will be extended on the basis of the team's performance in the coming season, he told Futaa.com.

Omino

Baraza replaces Henry Omino who was sacked at the end of the 2012 season after the club missed out on the KPL Top 8 for the second year running.
