Nzoia United goalkeeper Evans Baraza has expressed confidence regarding his side’s chances of winning the 2013 Division One [Western Zone] League title and earn a promotion ticket to the topflight league.
Last season, the Bungoma-based outfit failed to qualify after finishing second with 85 points, six behind champions Kakamega Homeboyz.
Better season
However, with their good preseason training, the former Mumcop/Umri custodian is of the view that they will manage to secure a Tusker Premier League [TPL] spot at the end of the season.
-I joined Nzoia in June last year when they were position five, but we fought hard and managed to finish second.
-I think that was a great job and since we have started together this season I am confident we will get promoted, said Baraza to futaa.com.
The Nzoia Sugar sponsored side commenced their preseason training on Thursday 3 January at Sudi Stadium.
