Bankers, Brewers set for a midfield battle

KCB

Tusker Premier League side KCB will be targeting to outnumber their Monday opponents Tusker FC when the two clash at the City Stadium starting 1600Hrs.

Mid strength

Speaking ahead of the match, assistant coach Peter Ambetsa revealed that his side has been working on their mid-power over the last week.

-I know that we will need a very strong show in the midfield so that we can outnumber them. We are however prepared and have been working on this over the last week.

-I therefore expected a better performance from what we had against AFC Leopards in our last match as we target to win this match and move higher on the standings.

KCB are currently placed 12th on the standings and a win for them could catapult the team to ninth on the standings above Karuturi Sport who currently occupy the spot.
