Bandari however had to come from a goal down to claim the win that sends them up to 57 points from 27 games to open a massive nine point gap in Division One Zone A over second placed Kariobangi Sharks and third placed Bidoc United.
Iron Strikers opened the scoring on Peter Muluki a minute after the half hour mark. That goal was cancelled out barely five minutes later by former KCB player Erick Okoth whose lone goal on Saturday 18 August handed Bandari a 0-1 win over Administration Police in Machakos.
Impressive away outing
The game went to the half shared at 1-1 but Bandari stretched it four minutes to the hour mark with a goal from former Tusker and Harambee Stars defender Crispin Odula.
There was time for a safety goal for Bandari two minutes to time from Morris Thomas to seal the 1-3 win.
Bandari, a former Kenyan Premier League side relegated at the close of the 2011 season will now head to Mombasa with an impressive away outing that saw the team win back to back games in Nairobi for the first time this season.
As Bandari stays top, Iron Strikers have been left 19th in the 20-team standing with 23 points from 25 games.
