Bandari in win over Tanzanian side

Tanzania Vodacom League side Coastal Union was drowned 3-2 By Bandari in a build up friendly match played today Wednesday 15 August 2012 at the KPA Mbaraki Sports Club.

Nsa Job 

Bandari’s skipper Raphael Okello got the first of the afternoon in the eighth minute when he stepped up to convert a spot kick awarded after a coastal Union defender handled the ball inside the box.

The visitors were also awarded a spot kick in the 22nd minute following an infringement inside the box and Nsa Job sent the goal keeper the wrong way.

Dazzling striker Kahindi Kenga made it 2-1for Bandari four minutes later when he tapped the ball home from a rebound.

The visitors were awarded another spot kick in the 36th minute after a striker was pulled down and Said Sued made no mistake to slam the ball home to draw the Tanzanian side level. 

But Eric Ochieng sent Bandari 3-2 up in the tenth minute of the second half, a lead that lasted to the final whistle to hand Division One Zone A leaders the friendly win.

Podium

Coastal Union, sponsored by Tanga Cement Company is building up for the Tanzanian League which is set to kick off on 3 September 2012.

The two sides meet for a rematch on Saturday 26 September.

Bandari are currently perched at the podium of the division one eastern zone log with 51 points from 25 matches, four points ahead of second placed Kariobangi Sharks who have a match in hand
