After edging out KSL Thola Glass and Kariobangi Sharks in their weekend matches, the promotion from the Eastern Zone of Kenya’s Division One belongs to Bandari FC.

This is according to Congo United Chairman Evans Mzungu who says that their coastal counterparts should already be making plans for a promotion party.

-I am fully convinced that nothing can stand in the way of Bandari getting that promotion, Mzungu told Futaa.com.

-They have played their cards well and it has paid off.

Bandari , who beat Thola 2-0 and the Sharks 1-0, currently have 69 points, 12 in front of closest competitors Bidco United.
