Bandari – Leopards friendly delays over choice of referee

A friendly tie planned to kick off at 1500hrs local time on this Saturday 13 October 2012 delayed for an hour as officials from either side are yet to agree on who will officiate the game.

Kagera

Ahead of the tie, Bandari officials hoped that local referee Ben Sirikwa would officiate the game but Leopards wanted Nairobi based James Kagera to take control of the game.

Finally, the game kicked off at close to 1600hrs with James Kagera the man at the centre.

Well-attended

Now at half time, Bandari, the Division One Zone A league leaders are ahead of third placed AFC Leopards by 1-0.
