Bafana skipper upset by penalty decision

Bafana Bafana skipper was not a happy man after the pulled their hosts Harambee Stars level in their Tuesday 16th October 2012 evening match at the Nyayo National Stadium.

In the post-match interview, Bongani Khumalo lamented that he was not to blame for that and it should not have given in the first place since it was not intentional.

Unfair decision

-I was very upset about the penalty and I felt it was a bit too harsh since I was hardly two meters away from the play and could not see the ball but it was given and it was harsh but we won the game which is the most important thing.

Khumalo handled Kemboi's header in the box allowing Stars to score through a penalty in the 72nd minute by skipper Dennis Oliech but a Christopher Wekesa own goal moments later handed Bafana Bafana the 2-1 win.
