In the game played at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland from 2145hrs local time, Bafana Bafana did well to hold the hosts to a barren draw up until the 80th minute of the game.
However, in the very next minute, Poland scored through 24 year old FC Terek Grozny left back Marcin Komorowski.
Decider
The goal, the first for Marcin in his seventh international game, turned out to be the decider in the friendly game.
South Africa is expected to land in Kenya on Saturday 13 October aboard a private jet ahead of another friendly with the Harambee Stars that will be played on Tuesday at the 30,000-seater Nyayo National Stadium, one that kicks off at 1900hrs.
