Kibera Celtic are re-grouping for what will be a tricky final stretch to the end of the season.
The Division One side is mired in a relegation battle in the FKF Division One Zone A, just as has been all season.
Initially, they were in a far worse place than the fifth bottom they currently are, but with a 1-0 home loss to Congo United over the weekend, have now been caught by Gatundu Stars who have the same number of points.
Hit back
Club Chair John Oyoo is confident though that his side will bounce back, despite the loss and feels that they are in a good position to avoid relegation.
- We lost to Congo fair and square. There was no controversy or mischief. The game was played in good spirit and we lost.
- It is disappointing, but in this league, you do not dwell on such for long. You have to re-group and look to do better in the next matches, which are far more important, he told Futaa.com.
Pick up points
Celtic face off with KSL Thola Glass and Nairobi Stima over the coming weekend.
