Ayuko starts for Karuturi against Thika

Legendary Karuturi Sport keeper Noah Ayuko has been named among the Naivasha side’s starters for the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match on Sunday 26 August against Thika United at the Thika Municipal Stadium.

Injury plagued

With most of the team’s players out either on injury or illness, coach Michael Nam has named midfielder Victor Majid among the starters but he will play in the right back position while Jacob Omondi, who missed the Western Stima game, returns and will captain the side.

Peter Juma is also in the starting eleven, he takes the place of Geoffrey Msieba who drops to the bench as first choice keeper Michael Wanyika is out with an ankle injury which gives Maxwell Maloba a place on the bench.

Starting XI: Noah Ayuko (GK), Victor Majid, Yusuf Siruma, Titus Wamalwa, Andrew Mbwabi, Mustapha Mohamed, Abdul Mohamed, Peter Juma, Jacob Omondi (cpt), Kennedy Oduor, Zzinde Husssein.

Substitutes: Maxwell Maloba (GK), Samuel Olare, Allan Omondi, Geoffrey Msieba, Joshua Okeyo, Alfred Chole, Mohamed Mwachiponi.
