Awilo: Chemelil were the better side

SoNy Sugar assistant coach Willis Oyugi admits that his side was beaten by a far better team in Chemelil Sugar.

Chemelil became the first team to win at the Awendo Green Stadium this season with a well earned 1-0 win over their fellow sugar belt side in a Tusker Premier League clash played on Saturday 20 October 2012.

Oyugi says that Chemelil were the better side and deserved the win.

Poor play

- We did not play very well against Chemelil. We were poor and looked tired and disjointed. Maybe the international break slowed us down.

- However, I will not deny Chemelil their credit. They came here and surprised us. They played very well and fully deserved the win.

- It takes a good team to beat us in Awendo and they showed that they are very good, he told Futaa.com.
