The club has been on holiday since their French Ligue one match with Dijon, which ended 2-2 on Wednesday 21 December 2011.
With a Cup match with Chambly set for Saturday 7 December 2011 just around the corner, the club has decided to start the year early.
According to the club's official website, the club will meet at their Stade Abbe Deschamps base before starting their year the next day. They will travel to Canet-en-Roussillon where they will remain in camp until January 6. The same day evening, the group will join Auxerre Amiens, take up residence there, on the eve of the Cup match in France that they will play on Jan. 7 at Chambly-Thelle.
Oliech on fire
The club's leading striker in the current season has been Dennis Oliech, who has scored seven times for the club in the current Ligue one campaign.
The Kenyan international has been in good form and the club will be hopeful that he continues in the same way as they aim to finish as high up the table as they can.
Oliech will also be needed by Kenya in the new year, as the country approaches a torrid year in terms of fixtures.
