Arsenal forward Gervinho has been sidelined for three weeks with a knee injury and will miss their Saturday 3 November League match against Manchester United, at Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old forward was forced off in the Gunners' 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, just 11 minutes after coming on as a substitute last Saturday.

Out of action

According to Premierleague.com, the Ivory Coast international will miss Arsenal’s trip to Old Trafford and subsequent London derbies against Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur on 10 and 17 November respectively.

-Compared to last week Gervinho is of course out, for we think three weeks, said Wenger.

Gervinho is currently Arsenal's leading scorer in the Barclays Premier League with three goals.
