Selenga

The 2009 Tusker Premier League (TPL) Champions Sofapaka were in the news recently with the sacking of four players, obviously, that was not the end of it as another player has parted ways with the church – sponsored club.

Selenga leaves
Congolese born forward Demonde Selenga who joined the team in the mid season transfer period after being released by Gor Mahia has decided to call it quits at the club after just four months.

The player, informing futaa.com of his decision, said he has decided to take some time off the game to concentrate on personal issues.

Hard decision
-I have decided to bring to an end my time at Sofapaka, he said.

-It was not an easy decision to make but it is the right one for me at the moment. I just want to relax, have some time out of the game to take care of my personal issues.

Thankful

-I would like to thank everyone at the team for his contribution towards my career and I wish them all the best.

Selenga was on his second sspell at Batoto Ba Mungu; apart from Gor Mahia, he has previously turned out for AFC Leopards.
