A new team has been founded in Kisauni, to mainly help keep the youth of the area, who have been in the past prone to falling to drug abuse, positively occupied.
Having
been founded on the core values of Kibera-based side Kibera Celtic, the young
team will go by the name Celtic.
Support
This was confirmed by Kibera Celtic’s Chairman John Oyoo, who, speaking to Futaa.com, said that they are ready to guide the young team up.
-We are proud that the founders of the team saw us as the primary example to look upon and we are honoured to have them adopt the Celtic spirit and name, said Oyoo.
-We know that through this team, many a youth will be kept busy, and ultimately stay away from the lure of drugs.
Team
Kibera Celtic play in the Eastern Zone of Kenya’s Division One, where they are currently ranked 14th.
