Anguyo suffers injury scare

Ugandan born defender Ivan Anguyo has given Gor Mahia an injury scare ahead of Sunday’s (October 28) crunch Tusker Premier League match against defending champions Tusker.

Anguyo, who missed K’ogalo’s 1-0 win over Karuturi Sports due to suspension, was withdrawn from their today’s training match against Sofapaka at City Stadium after picking up an injury.

Assessment 

However according to Coach Zdravko Logarusic, they will assess the goal-scoring defender’s condition on Thursday before making a final decision on whether he will play any part in Sunday’s tie.

-Anguyo was injured during the training; he went down and left in the middle of training.

-We'll have to assess him tomorrow and then see what’s going on, Logarusic told futaa.com.
