Amwoka benched as Ulinzi target Tusker sip

2010 Tusker Premier League (TPL) champions Ulinzi Stars have released the line-up for the team that will take on Tusker FC in a league game scheduled for 1700hrs at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 4 May.

Skipper Evans Amwoka, who broke down in tears on the pitch after their humiliating 2-0 loss to Karuturi Sport last weekend, has been relegated to the bench with burly forward Wycliffe Ochomo taking his spot while speedy winger Chester Okoyo has been given the green light to start once again.

Eric Apul, who got the equalising goal against Mathare United a fortnight ago, will once again provide the defensive touch in the midfield while Kenyan international James Mulinge will be at the back to marshal the defence.

Oliver Agwanda earns a starting berth after his recent exploits as a substitute. Stephen Ochola and former skipper Geoffrey Kokoyo both make a comeback to the team's starting line-up after missing the 2-0 loss to Karuturi Sport in Nakuru on Sunday 28 April.

Starters: Jacktone Odhiambo (GK) (Cpt), Geoffrey Kokoyo, Oliver Ruto, Josiah Okello, James Mulinge, Eric Apul, Stephen Ocholla, Kelvin Simiyu, Chester Okoyo, Oliver Agwanda, Wycliffe Ochomo.

Subs: James Saruni (GK), Mohamed Hassan, Evans Amwoka, Allan Muhati, Richard Chege, Anthony Mureithi, Elvis Nandwa.
