Ulinzi Stars forward Evans Amuoka believes that a top three-finish in the Tusker Premier League is still a realistic aim for the Soldiers this season.
Despite their recent 0-1 defeat to Mathare United, the club’s leading scorer is looking forward to the chance to bounce back this Saturday (October 20) when they lock horns with title hopefuls AFC Leopards, in Mumias.
Crucial stage
-We have prepared very well, there is no any injury worry and all the players are in high spirits.
-The league is at a crucial stage and we can’t afford to drop any more points. We are coming from a defeat and it’ll be important for us to win in Mumias.
-We still have a chance to win the league. It’s not yet over until it’s over, but our main aim is to finish among the top three.
In the reverse tie at Afraha, the 2010 TPL champions succumbed to a 0-2 loss to Ingwe.
Ulinzi are fourth on the pile, five points below third placed AFC.
