Ambetsa not bitter after the axe

Immediate former Mahakama FC coach Peter Ambetsa is not irked by the club’s decision to drop him for his ‘student’ Ezekiel Akwana a week ago.

The coach who has also coached Rangers FC says that he fully understands the situation since this is football and nothing should be taken too personally.

That’s football

-I was not at all bitter with the change of mind since this is football and that is how the game is run and I fully understand.

-Akwana was my player at AFC Leopards, then we worked together at Rangers Fc and now he takes my place at Mahakama so I welcomed him with open arms.

The coach says that football is a game of winning, losing or drawing and is happy with his achievement at the club while wishing the new man at the helm all the best.

-Tomorrow we could meet at another place and still work together to develop the game, concluded Ambetsa.

Mahakama is currently placed sixth on the standings 12 points behind leaders while targeting a promotion at the end of the season.
