Alila falls short on the political front

On Monday 17 September 2012, one Tom Onyango Otieno Alila went for an elective post as he contested the Ndhiwa Parliamentary byelection that was called after former holder Orwa Ojode passed on in a helicopter crash back in June 2012.

At the close of the exercise, the Nyanza National executive Committee (NEC) Member at Football Kenya Federation was beaten to second place to miss out on representing his constituency in Parliament.

Alila is the former Chair of the Finance Committee at FKF. He is now the head of the Futsal and Beach football Committee.
