Ali Bai is back at Stima

Western Stima FC enterprising midfielder Ali Bai, has resumed training after being sidelined for a month with a thigh injury.

Bai sustained an injury while training with national team Harambee Stars ahead of their AFCON Group ‘J’ match against Guinea Bissau on September 3.

With three matches remaining before the end of the league, coach Henry Omino is optimistic that Bai will play the last two away matches of the season against Mathare United and Thika United respectively.

finish the season

But he’s doubtful for the forthcoming home match against Chemelil Sugar on Sunday 6 November.

-Bai is recovering very first, he started training last week, though he can’t kick long balls and his pace is very slow, Omino told futaa.com.

- But I am glad he’s picking up very nicely, the last two matches he will definitely play. He might even play partially in the second half of the Chemelil tie, he added.

Stima are currently 11th on the KPL log with 34 points after a 1-0 loss to Tusker on Saturday 29 October.
