Strong defence strategy

Simba dominated the better part of the game but were sold out at the finishing quarter by their opponents who strived to garner quick away goals. Algeria’s defence stategy was a threat to Simba side that lost five open chances to the first scorer, while Zambian Felix Sunzu also lost two trying to penetrate through Algeria’s side.

Replay promise

According to Mwanaspoti, Algeria’s Coach Alain Geiger who confessed dimmed winning hopes, also attributed their poor display to Hot Tanzanian climate that wore out his players.

-My plan was to get away scores to make thing simplified on our return home but that has since been disrupted. Now, I need to do something extra for the team when we host them back at home because  Simba has proved to be a good team.said the Algeria coach.

The Swiss coach promises their oppressors a ten-day overhauling of his squad ahead of the match replay which is set for 6 April in Algiers.
